Swedish Massage
A peaceful environment and nurturing touch allow you to let go and float away from it all. A few of the many benefits of this technique include reduced blood pressure and muscle tension, and improved circulation and sleep.
Orthopedic Massage
A large toolbox of techniques addresses issues of chronic pain due to previous injury, posture imbalances, or genetic conditions. Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, passive/active stretching (MET), and recommended stretches combine to rebalance the musculoskeletal system. Over time, you can expect improved ease of motion and relief from chronic pain.
Integrative Massage
Massage can be an opportunity to tune in with the body, tapping into its innate wisdom. Through guided breath-work and visualizations, you gain a strengthened sense of connection with your self.
Prenatal and Postpartum Massage
With all the physical and emotional changes taking place during and after pregnancy, massage is an excellent tool for maintaining comfort and a sense of well-being. Experience relief from headaches, back pain, sciatic nerve pain in the hips and legs, and swelling joints. Also enjoy deep relaxation, leading to improved hormone regulation and more restful sleep. Massage techniques are adapted to be completely safe for expecting mothers. However, if your pregnancy is high-risk or involves complications, please consult your doctor or midwife before scheduling a massage.
Jasmineʼs appreciation for pregnancy and birth began very young, as her mother was a midwife. After graduating with honors from Boulder College of Massage Therapy, she interned at South Boulder Chiropractic, providing prenatal massage, and at Boulder Community Hospital, providing postpartum massage. Her yoga teacher training and experience living at a yoga ashram helps her tune in to the subtle energy of all her clients, and provide peaceful, intuitive healing touch.
